A long overdue art trade for PenguinNao! And by "long overdue" I mean like. Three years. Ack. Thank you for being so patient!

She requested her character Syren, who has black hair and blue eyes like my character Mo, so I decided to draw the two of them together! And I also wanted to design outfits for them for the heck of it...part of the reason why it took so long. I guess the overall inspiration was "Victorian wedding", so there's a slight bride and groom theme, but I also drew motifs from each character's design. 

Mo (on the left) has a staff that glows in the shape of her scythe, and her outfit also has the sun motif that appears on her scythe. Syren's main motif is the chrysanthemum, so her staff glows in a chrysanthemum shape. She also has the magenta chrysanthemum knots and white feathers from her original outfit, and this dress is loosely based on her original dress (you can see it in the corset and the layers). As with her original design, her outfit is the same shade of white all the way through. Mo's outfit was sort of designed to compliment Syren's, as Mo doesn't have a set costume.

I haven't drawn Mo in the longest time...I do want to revisit her story sometime. It was nice drawing her again.

I put a lot of work into this to make up for me taking so long...which in turn, made me take even longer. I'm just glad I finally managed to finish! This is gonna be my wallpaper now, probably.
